Brett William McCool

Brett William McCool, 58, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. He was born on April 8, 1963 to William McCool and Myra Sue Webb. On November 27, 1991 he married Linda McCool and they were blessed with thirty years of marriage. He is preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, William Joseph McCool.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to deer hunt and fish. He enjoyed watching old western movies and loved all types of music. He was a jokester at heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was survived by his loving wife Linda Chambers McCool, of Hot Springs; three children, Dana Brooks and her husband, Chester, of Malvern, Kara Elliott and her husband, Randy, of Hot Springs and Cortney McCool, of Alvin, TX.; nine grandchildren, Makayla, Meaghan, Kason, Jaxx, Jessie, Joyclyn, Lydia, Sarah and Sam; five great-grandchildren, Charleigh, Flynn, Bennett, Maryn and Dani; one brother, Traye McCool and his wife, Alisha, of Greenbrier; one sister, Joni Lee and her husband, George, of Little Rock; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at New Life Missionary Baptist Church, 126 West Drive, Benton, with Bro. Joe Chambers officiating. A visitation pot luck will follow the service.
