Brenda Kay “N’oem” Cox, age 66, of Hot Springs, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2021.
She was born on October 19 1955, in Nashville, Arkansas, the daughter of Billy Joe Deloney and Lyda Mae Ritchey Deloney. She is preceded in death by her parents; and Teresa Mooney.
Brenda graduated from Nashville High School in 1974, and Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in education. She worked for the United States Postal Service for 25 years and after retirement she went back to college and graduated in 2012 from National Park Community College (now NPC) as a registered nurse. She loved reading, country music, going to the beach and the Razorbacks. Brenda will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Brad Bettis and his wife, Brandi; her significant other, Gene Mooney and his daughter, Jennifer Lyons and her husband, Brock; her grandchildren, Tyler Vincent and his wife, Allison, Asher Lyons, Beau Brown, Griffin Lyons and Beckett Bettis; extended family and a host of wonderful friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Bro. Kevin Dutton officiating.
Visitation will be held Monday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Irby, Jason Hunter, Brock Lyons, Rusty Byrd, Drew Moody, Dustin Strube and Troy Smith.
