Brenda Kay Hopper, 63, of Cabot died Monday, August 28, 2006 surrounded by family and friends. She was born April 25, 1943 in Griffithville, Arkansas. She was a member of Levy Church of Christ in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert L. Hopper, of Cabot, a son Jon Mark of Furlow, a daughter Anita Kay Kotrlik of Las Vegas, five special grandchildren Caleb, Jonna, Cassidy, Nicholas, and Noah, mother Johnnie B. Cooper of Griffithville, a sister Phyllis VanWinkle of Rose Bud, a sister Marilyn Neal of Sherwood, a sister Terri Parsons of Perry, Florida and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of 1NW at St. Vincent?s Infirmary for their tender care and kindness during her illness, where before retirement she invested her talents for 12 years as a social worker.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at the Levy Church of Christ building at 5124 Camp Robinson Road in North Little Rock. Graveside services will be held at Dogwood Cemetery south of Griffithville, Arkansas at 3:00 P.M. The family will receive friends at the North Little Rock Funeral Home at 1921 Main St., from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., on Tuesday, August 29, 2006.
