Brenda Godwin

Brenda Godwin, age 66, of Hot Springs passed away, Friday, January 29, 2021.

Brenda was born on March 1, 1954 in Hot Springs, the daughter of Raymond Sanders and Louise Couch Sanders. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Dixie Clay.

She was Baptist in her faith. Brenda worked for Razorback Campers for over twenty years and then worked at Sanders Plumbing until she retired. Her hobbies were tending her flowers, gardening and camping. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Jerry Godwin of Hot Springs; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and DaLeyna Scantling of Hot Springs; her grandchildren, Abbigail Scantling, Aubree Scantling, N’Alyssa Haire, Daniel Haire and Krista Combs; her great-grandson, Declan Scantling; her sister, Pat Jones of Hot Springs; her niece, Samantha Jones of Hot Springs; extended family members and many wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 5, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. Ronnie Inman officiating. Social distancing directives will be in place with 66% capacity in chapel and face covering must be worn.

Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Emmett, Randy Godwin, Daman Godwin, Zach VanNorman, Bryan Godwin, Andrew Godwin, Ethan Godwin and Gene Blackwell.
