Brenda Carol Foiles

Brenda Carol Foiles, 71, of Little Rock, AR, passed away unexpectedly on March 18th, 2025. She was born December 21, 1953 in North Little Rock, AR to the late June Foiles and James "Skook" Foiles.

Brenda was very recognizable at UPS, where she lovingly earned the nickname of “BrendaUPS”. Brenda loved sailing, gardening, and spending time with her community that she built over the years. She loved gardening so much that she even earned the title of a “Master Gardener” through her hard work and devotion. She graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1971, where she was a Wildcat Cadet.

A good week for Brenda would have been finding new plants for her garden, discovering a new animal that had adopted her yard, and cooking a meal from scratch for her neighbors. Her love for sailing took her all over the country, with her sister Virginia as her co-captain. Brenda grew up on the lake, and the Foiles Lake House is where her love of being in the water likely started.

Brenda touched many lives, and was a stranger to no one. Her friends and family knew how much they were loved because of Brenda’s caring nature and actions. Earning nicknames such as "Brendo" "Brenda Sue" and "Bren", she was very lucky to have such wonderful friends for several years.

Brenda is survived and missed by two loving sisters, Virginia (Gina) Eschbacher (Kevin) and Beverly Foiles Cox, half-sister Carrie Adelmann, nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted grandsons, her corgi Brodie, and many friends that loved her deeply. Her journey on Earth was one filled with compassion and deep love for all animals and people that crossed her path. Brenda was warm-hearted, hilarious, and always a woman you could count on. Memories of her will be cherished and she will be deeply, deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Mains Street) with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
