Brenda Lavern Brown, 58, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord February 2, 2019. She was born December 26, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to the late James and Queen (Parks) Brown.
Brenda loved the Lord and was a faithful follower. She cherished her job at Little Rock Job Corps Center where she went way above and beyond for her students. Brenda enjoyed travelling and camping with friends. Her favorite times were spent with her daughter and granddaughters taking road trips and annual Spring Break trips to Memphis. She was her daughter's best friend.
Brenda leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Bridgette Scales of Jacksonville, Arkansas; sons: Antonio Value and his wife Ashley of Little Rock and Herman Thomas and his wife DeAnna of North Little Rock; grandchildren: Renae Brooks, Jaila Scales, Haiden Value, and Toni Value; sisters: Beverly Brown of North Little Rock and Ledora Griden and husband Tyrone of Little Rock; three brothers: Dewayne Brown, Sr. of North Little Rock, Julius Brown of Conway, Arkansas, and Lawrence Malden of Little Rock; step-grandchildren: Jaylen Scales and Asia Harris; and a host of family and friends who love Brenda and will miss her always.
