Boyd Holcombe

Boyd Holcombe, age 70, of Glenwood, died Friday, June 24, 2011. He was born on October 13, 1940, at Lodi, the son of Perry Glen Holcombe and Ezma Laura White Holcombe. He was a member of the Pearcy Full Gospel Lighthouse, a United States Army Veteran and a retired barber. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Holcombe of Glenwood; five children, John Holcombe, Jr. of West Memphis, Steven Holcombe of Beebe, Cindy Province of Jonesboro, Bruce Tyrrell of Hot Springs and Sarah Tyrrell of Glenwood; five grandchildren; and one brother, Hulett Holcombe of Beaumont, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2011, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Sister Kathleen Griffin officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Lodi Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army.
