Bonnie Spoon

We are celebrating the life of Bonnie Vashti Elrod Spoon, 91 of North Little Rock, AR. She was born on January 26, 1916 to the late Bossy and Katherine Elrod in Alexander, AR. Bonnie worked in the restaurant industry throughout her professional career and retired from the Southwest Hotel in Little Rock. She was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by one brother, Woody Elrod, and a son-in-law, Kenneth Mitchell. She leaves to cherish her memory, her best friend and husband of 71 years, Frank Spoon of North Little Rock, AR. She is also survived by six children; Charles Jones (Karen) of Little Rock; Joe Spoon (Barbara) of Maumelle; Irene Mitchell of Tull; Brooks Spoon (Cylinda) of North Little Rock; Kathy Mohesky (Larry) of Leslie, MO; and Holly Roberts (David) of Springdale; 17 Grandchildren and a host of great-Grandchildren.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the entire staff at Baptist Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. They would especially like to thank nurses aid Mary Cloird for her care and support of Bonnie, throughout the last few months.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park.
