Bonnie Pitts, age 81, of Glenwood, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015. She was born on May 3, 1933 at Pampa, Texas, the daughter of William H. Brown and Edna Moon Brown. On March 21, 1956, she was married Earl Pitts who preceded her in death on October 14, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Kim Brown, Ralph Brown, Allie Brown, William Brown, Phillip Brown and Paul Brown; and two sisters, Gay Greer and Connie Morphew. Bonnie was a member of the Bonnerdale Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved to be outdoors working in her flowers and vegetable garden. She also raised chickens, cattle and enjoyed working on the farm. She is survived by her son, Wesley Pitts of Byron, Georgia; two grandchildren, Wesley Pitts of Glenwood and JoAnn Phillips and her husband, Jason of Byron, Georgia; two great-grandchildren, Ashtyn and Brody; one brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Deborah Brown of Glenwood. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the Bonnerdale Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery with Bro. Bruce Tidwell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Honorary pallbearers will be the doctors, nurses and staff of Glenwood Health and Rehab and Arkansas Hospice.
