Bonnie Neighbors

Bonnie Neighbors, age 89, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 5, 2021.

She was born on November 16, 1931, in Point Cedar, the daughter of George Aaron Sheets and Susan Elizabeth Thacker Sheets. She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Leslie Muncrief in 1977 and Vernon Neighbors in 2018; and one son, Manuel Muncrief.

Bonnie was a Christian in her faith and a member of Mt. Olive Community Church. She was a homemaker and a daycare worker. She loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings with all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bonnie will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law/son, Freda and Rodney Neighbors of Hot Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Kim Muncrief of McNeil and Dewey and Debra Neighbors of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren and spouses, Tina And David Brumley, Tama and Rickey Morgan, Tanner and Amy Neighbors, Tommy and Kristen Muncrief, Leslee and Brian King, Carla and Khris Johnson and Brandy and Jeff Pustejovsky; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 8, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Steve Thacker officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Lowe Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Muncrief, Brian King, Tanner Neighbors, Conner Brumley, Noah Morgan, Dakota Muncrief and Kash Muncrief.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Neighbors, Dewey Neighbors, Rickey Morgan, David Brumley, Jeff Pustejovsky, Dustin Morgan, Chris Johnson, Wyatt Pustejovsky and Alex Johnson.
