Bonnie Jean Manasco, age 95, of Dierks, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 30, 2024. She was born in Athens on June 8, 1929, the daughter of Roy Levi and Virgie Parsons Hunter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband who she married October 28 1944, Rayford Manasco; her daughter, Janice Manasco Shaw; her son-in-law, Jerry Shaw; her son, Donnie Manasco; and her grandson, Brian Manasco.
Bonnie was a member at Midway Church of Christ. She worked as a poultry farmer and spent many years as a home care aide where she helped countless people. She loved to sew and do needle work. Bonnie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Manasco Counts of Dierks; her five grandchildren, Denean Shaw McWhorter, Deann Shaw Alexander, Denise Manasco Cook, Shawn Counts, Marshall Counts; her seven great-grandchildren, her three great-great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Bethel Cemetery in Umpire with Bro. Rufus Robinson officiating.
