Bonnie June Blucker Koch, 74, of Little Rock, widow of Jack Koch, died on Sunday, May 20, 2007. Born in Henderson, Texas on July 1, 1932, the daughter of Z. L. Holden, Jr. and Louella Melton, she obtained her Master's Degree at Oklahoma State University in 1953 and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Bonnie June loved to fish and was ranked, at one time, the #3 Lady Bass Angler in Arkansas. She was a long-time advocate and fundraiser for shelters for battered women.
She is survived by her son, Stratton L. Blucker of Little Rock; daughter, Taralou Dunklin and husband, William H. Dunklin, Jr. of Dumas, Arkansas; step-son, Rahe Koch and wife, Cathy, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and grandchildren, Dr. William H. Dunklin III of Dallas, Texas; Sarah Dunklin of Houston, Texas; Alexander Dunklin and Sloane Dunklin, both of Dumas; and Jonathan Koch of Minneapolis.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 24 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
