Bonnie Lou Karber age 78, of Alpine, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Arkadelphia. She was born October 17, 1941 to Luther and Coy Martin Loy. Bonnie was a Baptist.
Bonnie attended St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Hot Springs and graduated from Warner-Brown School of Nursing in El Dorado. She was a registered nurse for the Clark County Memorial Hospital and later served as administrator for the Clark County Health Department for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Loyd Loy, Marvin Loy and Jewell Loy.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, Billy Karber; two daughters, Lisa Wright and husband, Brett of Glenwood, Tonya Harrison and husband, David of Arkadelphia; five grandchildren, Kris Jennings and husband, Eran, Brooke Jackson and husband, Dalton, Jared Wright, Dalton Guthrie and Blair Nutt and husband, Justin; one great-granddaughter, Reese Jennings and one special niece, Ktrina Patton.
Service will be 2:30 PM Monday, November 11 th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Rev. Johnny McAnnally officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery at Amity. Visitation will be prior to service starting at 1:00 PM Monday.
