Bonnie J. Garrett

Bonnie J. Garrett, age 68, of Amity, died Sunday, June 24, 2012. She was born on June 24, 1944, in Wellington, Texas, the daughter of Chester Leon Howell and Pearl Adams Howell Page. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, James Page; her paternal grandparents, Evan and Gracie Frances Howell; and her maternal grandparents, Hob and Lucinda Adams. She was a homemaker and member of the Caney Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jim and Cynthia Garrett of Amity, John and Sandra Garrett of Kirby and Scott Garrett of Amity; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Danny Howell of Glenwood, Bennie and Becky Howell, Ricky and Marie Howell and Timmy Howell, all of California; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nita and Bobby Davis of Helena, Sherrie Lucio of Texas and Vickie and Donald Head of Malvern; ten grandchildren, Nicole Ducote and her husband, Charles, Noel Bailey and her husband, Dane, James Wright, Carlee Garrett, Carson Garrett, Austin Garrett, Houston Garrett, Justin Garrett and his wife, Amy; and two great-grandchildren Jace Wright and Lane Bailey. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 27, 2012, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Jack Herring officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Caney Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zach Benedict, Glen Wilder, Dusty Wilder, Joey Francis, Mike Klein and Curt Beavert. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
