Bonnie Hill, 86, of North Little Rock died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Baptist Hospital following a stroke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alta Stewart; brother, Sam Stewart; three sisters, Dorothy "Jim" McDonald, Marie Dupree and Geraldine Roper; her husband, Raymond Hill; and one son, Ronny Hill. She is survived by one son, Jimmy Hill and wife, Jeanie, of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Eleanor Evans and husband, Jeremy, of Lafayette, California; three great-grandchildren, Isaac, Arlo and Zelda Evans and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born December 19, 1922 in El Paso in White County and grew up in England, Arkansas. She married in 1942. She worked in several capacities for Pfeifer's Department Store, later Pfeifer-Blass and then Dillard's where she managed the Russell-Stover candy shop.
She and Raymond were avid campers and traveled extensively in the U.S. with their camping friends. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rose City.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday at Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M., until service time at the church.
