Bobby Lee Strayhorn

Bobby Lee Strayhorn, 80, passed away January 2, 2023.  He was born March 10, 1942, to James AZ and Senia Ann (McEuen) Strayhorn.  Bobby was a Vietnam Veteran, a retired car man with Union Pacific Railroad, and a cattle farmer.  He was a past member of VFW Post 7769, past Board member of Arkansas Cattleman’s Association, and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jimmy Joe, and grandson Justin Matthew Harris.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon (Burnett) Strayhorn; sons David (Tanya) Strayhorn of Beebe and Steven (Stacey) Strayhorn of McRae; daughters Angela (Clay) Goff of Beebe and Connie Kloss of North Little Rock; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home, Davita Dialysis, Superior Senior Care, Arkansas Hospice, and caregivers Sandra Brown and Peggy Duncan.
