Bobby Eagle

Bobby Charles Eagle, 68, of Lonoke passed from this life on August 21, 2021. He was born March 9, 1953, in Lonoke, Arkansas, the son of the late Charlie and Marlue (Paty) Eagle. Mr. Eagle was of the Christian faith and always enjoyed attending the men’s breakfast at Mt. Zion Church. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, tinkering on his hay farm and riding around on this side by side, feeding the fish, and enjoying what beauty the Lord created around him. He retired from the railroad after thirty years of service. He always said his favorite part of his job was honking the horn for kids at railroad crossings. He will always be remembered as a hardworking father, grandfather, brother, and friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Blue Heeler, Blue.

Left to mourn his passing are his children, April Eagle of Conway, John Eagle of Lonoke; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Breanna, Logan, and Cody Kyzer; and great grandchild, Blakleigh Eagle. Other survivors include a sister, Sandy Kirspell and husband Rick of Georgia; along with three nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00am, Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114 (501) 758-1170. Interment will follow at Hicks Cemetery in Lonoke. Visitation will be Friday evening, August 27, 2021, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Eagle’s memory may be made to the Bennett Family Arkansas Waterfowl Association Outdoor Recreation Center for Youth at 8088 Arkansas Highway 31, Lonoke, Arkansas, 72086.
