Bobby Ray Brewer, age 74, of Kirby, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
He was born on May 21, 1948, in Holly Grove, the son of Ralph Eugene Brewer and Mazzie Glendora Funderburk Brewer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Duren Brewer; his father; his four precious grandbabies; and two brothers, Ricky Brewer and Arnold Brewer.
He was a member of Chalybeate Valley Missionary Baptist Church; a preacher; and a U.S. Army Veteran, having served his country in Korea during the Vietnam war. He had a passion for flying model airplanes. Bobby was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, who loved his family with all his heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Mazzie Brewer of Daisy; his daughter and son-in-law, Leigh and Daniel Nivens of Kirby; his two grandsons, Alex Nivens and David Nivens; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Tony and Diana Brewer and Jerry Brewer, all of Daisy; his sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Steve Hill of Alpine; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
A Celebration of Bobby's life will be held by the family at 12:30 PM, Sunday, September 4, 2022, in the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Kirby.
Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff of Arkansas Hospice Inpatient, 5th Floor, CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs for their kind and wonderful care.
