Bobby Bohannon

Bobby Donald Bohannon died Tuesday morning, November 3, 2015, at the William P. Clements University Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Schaal, Arkansas. Mr. Bohannon resided in Berryville, Arkansas, but he and his wife spent the later months of his life in North Little Rock with his father-in-law, Rev. Joe Wilmoth.

During his lifetime, Mr. Bohannon worked in various levels of sales for several different companies. Bobby always strived to help people and was an advocate for their needs being met. Mr. Bohannon was responsible for the funds being donated to purchase a new piano for the new choir room at Berryville High School. At one time, he also served on the Berryville Baseball Board.

Mr. Bohannon was a Marine who proudly served his country. He worshiped and attended First Assembly of God in North Little Rock.

Bobby will forever be remembered for his love of sports. He loved helping and coaching his children when they were young. In his later life, he delighted in helping and practicing with his grandchildren and cheering them on at their games.

Mr. Bohannon leaves behind his wife, Judy Bohannon; four children, Machelle Bohannon Akin of Nashville, AR, Vernon Don Bohannon of Texarkana, AR, Carmen Bohannon Hudman, wife, Jennifer of Ft. Worth, TX, and Jason Bohannon, wife, Sarah of Rogers, AR; two step-children, Michael Crews, wife, Carrie of Williard, MO, Melodee Owens, husband, Carl, JR of Sheridan, AR; sister, Linda Kay Jones and her husband Bobby of Schaal, AR. Mr. Bohannon also left behind adoring grandchildren and a host of friends and other family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Bohannon, his mother, Gladys Clevenger, two siblings. Olen Clevenger, Jr. and Charles Bohannon, and his mother-in-law, Wanda Herndon Wilmoth.

Funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 8th at Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service starting at 4:00 p.m.
