Bobbie Geneva Bivins Oats, resident of Little Rock since 1971, died May 24, 2018. She was born in Foreman, Arkansas on February 24, 1924 to Robert Bivins and Mary Chauncy Bivins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Dolly Bivins, her sister, Louise Crawford, her brother, Randolph Bivins and her husband, James M. Oats.
Mom leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Mike Oats (Nancy) of Coppell, Texas and Rick Oats (Donna) of Scottsdale, Arizona; and her daughter, Janet Oats of Little Rock. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Sam Oats (Blanca), Jolyn Hunt (Vance) and Jeff McKune (Connie); five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), (501)224-2200.
