Bobbie Lee Head

Bobbie Lee Head, 72, of Sherwood, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 27, 2024. She was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on February 9, 1951, to the late Robert and Mamie Martin.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Head; stepson, Jason Head; and great-granddaughter, Riley Ricketts. She is survived by her sons, Keith Riley (Linda), Bobby Riley (Michelle), and Christopher Riley; grandchildren, Brittany Riley (Sarah), Alexis Martin (Bryson), Zach Riley, Nathaniel Riley, Annalisse Worthan (Duncan), Brianna Riley, and Jacob Riley; great-grandchildren, Cruz Martin, Bliss Martin, Blair Martin, Eleanor Worthan, and Grayson Riley; and her beloved fur baby, Andy.  

Bobbie was a lover of Jesus and country music (in that order!).  She was a wonderful singer and could light up a room with her voice.  For many years, she would sing at the lighting of the Christmas tree at the Arkansas State Capitol.  

Bobbie spent over 25 years working as an Executive Secretary for the House of Representatives. She was a longtime member of Christian Assembly of God in Sherwood.  Bobbie was a devoted prayer warrior and made a daily list to lift others in prayer.   She had a great sense of humor and was able to provide comedic relief in any situation.   

A memorial service will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107).
