Bobbie Luceal ( Shumate) Joslin, wife of Odis L. Joslin, died Saturday, May 2nd, 2015. She was born near Greenbrier, Arkansas on Feburary 26th, 1926, one of 11 children of Robert and Vivian E. ( Glover) Shumate.

She graduated from England High School and was married on November 9th, 1943, living briefly in Riverside, California before returning to Arkansas. She retired as a supervisor from Winburn Tile Mfg. Co. after 28 years service. She was a baptist and a founding member of Berean Baptist Church in North Little Rock.

She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Vivian Shumate, a stepmother, Hettie Rhoades, five sisters; Dora Rice, Robbie Speck ,Montean Hollingshead, Juanita Carter and Oleita Loche, four brothers; Wayne Shumate, Gerald Shumate, Bill Shumate and Don Shumate, She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Odis L. Joslin of Morrilton, a son, Robert L. Joslin and daughter-in-law, Pamela, of Little Italy, a brother Jay Shumate of Little Rock, two step-brothers, Dallas Rhoades (Mary) of Lonoke and Randle Rhoads ( Sadie) of Washington State, a stepsister, Treva Elder (Bill) of Benton and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home in Conway on Tuesday, May 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. The Graveside Service and interment will be at Edgewood Cemetery in North Little Rock on Wednesday, May 6th at 1:30 p.m.
