Bobbie Barker, age 92, formerly of Pasadena, Texas passed away peacefully at her home in Searcy, Arkansas on Friday, April 14, 2023. She was born in Damascus, Arkansas on September 24, 1930 to the late Jesse Lee Barker and Flossie Presley Barker Pringle. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jesse T. Barker, her son, Daniel Ray Barker and her step-father, Ira Pringle.
Bobbie was a graduate of North Little Rock High School class of 1948. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston. She was a retired CPA and owner of Travel Party, a home based travel agency. She was an avid cruiser having travel all over the world on cruise ships. She was a member of The Texas Federation of Republican Women, Women's Transportation Club of Pasadena as well as a former Republican delegate and precinct voting judge in Harris County, Texas.
She is survived by her niece, Melinda Story and husband, Randall; great nephews and nieces, Justin Story, Regina Sinkey and Austin Story; numerous great-great nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Maxine Barker Guffey as well as many more cousins. She is also survived by special dear friends, Virginia and Leo Rodriguez of Pasadena, Texas and Alan Wallace of Watters Road Church of Christ also of Pasadena, Texas.
Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Conway, 1751 Dave Ward Dr., Conway, AR on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Quattlebaum Cemetery in Bee Branch, Arkansas.
