Bob Veasey

Bob Veasey, age 78, of Bonnerdale, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012. He was born on July 12, 1933, at Monticello, the son of Russell Veasey and Doris Gibson Veasey. On November 4, 1957, he was married to Katherine Gannaway. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a United States Army veteran, worked in sales for Malvern Insulation and retired from AA Seamless Gutters. He was an avid Razorback fan, enjoyed fishing and working in his garden. Bob adored his grandchildren and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Veasey of Bonnderdale; one son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Holly Veasey of Monroe, Louisiana; two daughters and one son-in-law, Valerie Veasey of Glenwood and Vicki and Dennis Bradley of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Paul Bradley, Ryan Veasey, Mark Veasey and Marissa Veasey; one sister, Freddie Jo Williams of Rushville, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 28, 2012, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. J. B. Evans officiating.
