Bob Odom
Bobby "Bob" Louis Odom, 82 of Sherwood, "slipped the surly bonds of earth" on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Baptist Springhill Medical Center in North Little Rock. He was born November, 1929 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Bob retired from the U.S. Air Force, October 1969; having served in the Vietnam era and retired from Maybelline Corp. in 1989. Bob will be remembered as a good husband, father and grandfather, as well as a good and loyal friend to many.
Survivors include his wife Jimmie F. Odom, daughter Susan L. Odom; son Rory L. Odom and Rita; grandchildren: Jacob R. Bridges; Capt. Brandon L. Odom and Lt. Mia Odom; Taren M. Harrison and Jonathan; great- grandchild Alem R. Harrison; a sister Virginia Hardy and numerous friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood. Burial with military honors will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
