Burlin "Bob" L. Ford, 61 of Little Rock, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010 in Glenrose, Arkansas with the family he cherished around him; he was born January 17, 1949 in Harrisburg, Arkansas; he was the son of William "Pete" Sweat and Mattie Costner Sweat.
Bob was a retired construction worker and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Ford and his father William "Pete" Sweat.
Survivors include his children Jeff Ford of Little Rock ; Tonya Rhodes of Glenrose; Sam Ford of Jacksonville ; and Kim Ford of Glenrose; He is also survived by his mother Mattie Sweat; seven grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the UAMS Oncology Staff, Saline Hospice, and the Area Agency on Aging.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Little Rock with Ian Kumpe officiating, burial will follow in the Olive Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock .
