Blanche Santoro

Blanche Santoro, age 88, of North Little Rock, went to be with her Savior on Sunday July 20, 2014. She was born in Queens, NY on March 31, 1926 to the late John and Helen Havorka.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ralph Santoro. Blanche is survived by a daughter Lynda (Danny) Ables, three sons Walter (Dianne) Atkinson, Matt (Debbie) Santoro, and John (Tina) Santoro; seven grandchildren Ryan Ables, Mahriah Lambert, Rachel Ables, Samuel Santoro, Sabrina Santoro, Daisy Santoro, and Hardy Santoro; six great-grandchildren, and dear family friends Henry, Diane, and Andrea "Lucy" Smith.
Blanche's faith and Godly character shined as she proudly embraced her role of being a dedicated wife and mother to her family. Her infectious personality and smile led her into sales for Pfeifer-Blass, then Gene Lockwood Sporting Goods, and into her retirement from Harness Furniture. Blanche and her husband were members of Cedar Heights Baptist Church and were active with Gideon International.

Visitation will be Friday, July 25, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2014 at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock (758-1170). Interment will be in the AR State Veterans Cemetery at noon on Tuesday, July 29, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Gideon International.
