Billy Lee Williams

Billy Lee Williams, 83, of Mabelvale, passed away September 3, 2022.  Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene; his daughter, Janet McLaughlin; his son, Joey Williams; his grandson, Whitney Carden; and his parents, Joe and Kate Williams.

Bill leaves behind his son, Randy Williams of Bauxite; his daughter, Bonnie Kirby of Mabelvale; his grandson, Justin Carden who he raised as a son; ten other grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and others who called him Papaw.  Bill is also survived by two brothers, Bobby Williams of Vilonia and JD Williams of Ward.

Bill worked as a Residential Home Builder and Commercial Contractor.  A skilled tradesman holding numerous specialty licenses, he could build or fix just about anything and loved to work.

Bill was a member of North Sardis Baptist Church.  He enjoyed studying the Bible and sharing what he learned with others.

Visitation will be Friday, September 9 from 12:30-1:30pm with Funeral Service at 1:30pm at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court, Little Rock. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR.
