Col. Billy Thornton Retired Passed away Sunday, November 09,2008 in N.L.R., AR. He was preceded in death by his Parents Eurel and Cavie Mae Thornton of Raleigh, MS. He was a graduate of MS. State University and held a Master's Degree from Auburn. He served and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife Linda Napper, a son Brett Thornton, wife Geri of Sherwood, a step son David Swindell, wife Micha of Maumelle, two Grandchildren, Mason of Sherwood) and Jake of Maumelle, one sister Jeanette Nichols of Hattisburg, MS.
