Billy Qualls

Billy Joe Qualls, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019. He was born February 16, 1934 in Scott, Arkansas to the late Bert and Inez Qualls. He was a graduate of North Little Rock High and a boxer with the Boys Club Golden Gloves. Billy was in the National Guard, a member of the Church of Christ, and was employed with the UP Railroad for over 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his former wife, Floy Mae Epperson Qualls-Blanchard; their son, Tommy Qualls; siblings, Gerald, Louise, Wilma, Wandal, and Truman. He is survived by his son, Billy Ray Qualls; companion, Eula Faye Folsom; grandchildren, Lauren (Mike) Freshour, Halie Qualls and Troy Qualls; three great-grandchildren; two special nephews, Donald Ray Qualls and Ron Cox and niece, Sandy Mamino.

A visitation will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019 followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m., at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.
