Billy C. Prince, age 85, of the Caney Community near Bismarck, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 in Arkadelphia. He was born July 16, 1928 to Curtis and Mildred Mae Fickle Prince. He retired from Reynolds Metal Co. Jones Mill plant after thirty years. Bill was a Missionary Baptist Minister serving at the Big Creek Missionary Baptist in Malvern and the Brush Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Leola. He was a member of the Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Hot Springs.
Survivors are his wife of sixty-four years, Ruthell Prince; three daughters, Linda Holt and husband, Ron of Malvern, Kathy King and husband, Rod of Conway, Becky Williams and husband, Scott of Bismarck; one sister, Pat Ivy of Bismarck; eight grandchildren, Julie Sanders and husband, Corbett, Courtney Eastwood and husband, Mike, Chris Horton and wife, Kim, Laura Carreno and husband, Victor, Sarah Hayduk and husband, Jason, Nancy Patton and husband, Thomas, Jeremy Norris and wife, Alesha, Ryan Williams and wife, Jamie; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 21st at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Bro. Kenneth Dean Prince and Bro. John Owen officiating. Interment will be in Caney Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
