Billy Gene Pennington, 74, of Little Rock, passed away June 10, 2012. He was a 1958 graduate of the Arkansas School for the Deaf, and volunteered at the school's Museum.
Preceded in death by his stepfather and mother, Bill and Sibyl Dedman Terry and a sister, Mary Jo Martindale, he is survived by his son, Roger Pennington (Kathy) and daughter, Deronda Nall (Jerry) and their mother, Ella Pennington; brother, Bobby Pennington (Montie); sister, Jo Anne Ramos (J.R.); grandchildren, Rachael Nall, Sarah Ball (Josh) and Tyler Pennington; step-grandchildren, Jarrod Rich and Jordan Rich; and special friends, Margaret Fewell, and Patsy Holt and her family.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 5300 Stagecoach Rd., Little Rock 72204, officiated by Rev. Bob Slagley. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas School for the Deaf Historical Museum, 2400 W. Markham, Little Rock, AR 72202.
