Billy Parrott
Billy Lee "Pops" Parrott of Mayflower was born December 23, 1944 and passed away June 15, 2018. He served in the National Guard and retired from Path Finders after 30 years of service. He was a member of Free and Accepted Masons and received a "Bachelor Degree" in square dancing. He enjoyed fishing and hot rods. Pops will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include the love of his life, Betty Parrott; children: Billy Shawn Parrott (Barbara), Shelley Hixon (Michael), Jackie Gray (Carlton), Reba Helms (Dennis), Sherry Phillips, Russell Pennington (Sue), Carl "Rusty" Brasfield, Jr., Carl "Dusty" Brasfield, III (Lisa), and Stephen Brasfield; and sixty-five grand and great-grandchildren.
Pops was preceded in death by his parents, Travis Rex Parrott and Mauline Harris Parrott; sisters, Anna Houpt and Jo Ann Bell and two children, Jamie Parrott and Onna Sue Brown.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, June 19, 2018, followed by the funeral at 6:00 PM, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Guestbook at www.SmithFamilyCares.com
