Billy Howard Morgan, age 83, of Arkadelphia, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 in Arkadelphia. He was born January 3, 1933 in Arkadelphia to the late Andy Hardy and Jessie Mae White Morgan.
Billy was a member of Murfreesboro First United Methodist Church and retired from the Heavy Construction business. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a charter member of Arkadelphia Masonic Lodge # 381 and a 32nd degree mason.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Ann Rowe Morgan; one daughter, Melinda Kaye "Mo" Williams and one brother, J. L. Morgan.
Survivors are his wife, Martha Jo Freeland Stone Morgan; two sons, Steven Wayne (Melanie) Morgan of Magnet Cove and Gregory Rowe Morgan of Houston, Texas; three step-children, David (Janet) Stone of Jonesboro, Janice McCumber of Benton and Teresa Wharton of Bearden; two brothers, Jerry Wayne Morgan of New Caney, Texas and Gerald Ross Morgan of Texarkana, Arkansas; one sister, Eula Lafern Wilkins of Baytown, Texas; two grandchildren, Nathan Austin Morgan and Staci Breean Morgan and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, June 13th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Charlie Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-6 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
