Billy Lewis

Billy Wayne Lewis, 68, of Little Rock, AR passed away on July 13, 2018. He was born in Sparkman, AR to Daniel B. Lewis and Jean (Burks) Lewis. Billy was a member of the American Rose Society, Master Consulting Rosarian, and a Rose Judge. He was past president of the Central Arkansas Rose Society and past President of the Optimist Club at Rosedale. Billy also helped establish the Rose garden at the State Capital. He coached at the Optimist ballfields, was Troop Leaders for the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts. His favorite hobbies included traveling, camping, fishing and cooking. He loved to Barbeque. His favorite place to fish was The Little Red River.

He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Patsy Lewis of Little Rock, AR; children, Mary Rudesill of Searcy, Randy Wayne Lewis and daughter-in-law, Julie of Little Rock, AR grandson, Max Rudesill; aunt, Thel Glover; cousins, Billy Glover, Ronny Glover, Darlene Weatherly; mother-in-law, Mary Branton; sister-in-law. Linda and husband, Sammy Helm and sister-in-law, Susan Beebe; brother-in-law, Anson Nix; nieces, Michelle Tinker, Hallie Smith and nephew, Michael Nix.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 18th at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, AR 72205 with Dave Woodman officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR.
