Billy Hudgens

Billy Max Hudgens, 88, passed away April 5, 2023. Born June 19, 1934 in Paragould, Arkansas, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of First Baptist Church. Upon his retirement from the Army National Guard, his passion for horses led him to establish White Oak Stables where he trained, boarded and blacksmithed them.

Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Velda Marie Hudgens, his parents and his siblings, he is survived by his son, Phillip Kent Hudgens (Susan); grandchildren, Steven Hudgens (Kailey) and Perry Hudgens (Jenna); great-grandsons, Hudson and Emmett Hudgens; and other extended family and friends.

The funeral service with full Military Honors will be Wednesday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock..
