Billy Harris

William "Billy" Lester Harris was born on October 9, 1960 and went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his Father Darris "D L" Harris and his Grandparents Richmond (Rip) Harris and Jewel Harris of Little Rock.
Billy leaves to cherish his memory his dear mother Zona Yvonne (Harris) Shearer and six children Billie "Jeanette"(Harris) Young, Daniel "Danny" Harris, Jacob "Jake" Harris, step-son Kristopher "Kris" Evans, two estranged children Rachel Yvonne Harris, Jason (Allison Robertson-Cummings) Mastino and seven Grandchildren of the Little Rock area Hunter Hayes, Kyle Collins, Trinity Young, Kaden Harris, Devon Young, Braylee Harris, Jaymn Evans, one Grandchild Haley Cummings of TX and his five siblings - one brother James "Jim" Harris of Mayflower, and four sisters Ellen (Harris) Brown and Laura (Harris) Davis of East End- Hensley, Kim "Suzy" (Harris) Velez of Ft Myers, FL and Julie (Harris- Holland) Niehaus of Ft Smith, AR as well as many special nieces , nephews, close friends and other family.
Billy attended Bryant High School and has been owner of H & H Sales for over 30 years selling TLC cleaner. He also opened H & H Pawn Shop in Hensley in the 90's. He could sell anything! Billy loved to tell tall tales like the one about the bear who stole his beer and chips and rode off on a bicycle while he was camping one time.
Billy loved all of his children and raised his daughter Jeanette by himself. He was a good friend to his friends and his brother Jim. He loved puzzles, trivia, football and horse racing. He was a great hunter and fisherman and loved to drive his boat down the river.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8PM at Huson Funeral Home Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock. Lunch will be provided for family and friends at 11:00am on Saturday at Cornerstone Fellowship Church Hwy 167 at Woodson Lateral Hensley and the Funeral Service will be Saturday 2pm at Huson Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Miller Officiating and Graveside Service to follow at Olive Hill Cemetery on Chicot Road Little Rock.
