Billy Ferguson

Billy Joe Ferguson, 86, of Beebe went to be with the Lord, February 15, 2019.  He was born August 17, 1932 to H.E. and Maurine Ferguson in Floydada, Texas.

Billy was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene, and was honored to serve as an ordained minister for many years.  He had a passion for playing music, especially bluegrass and gospel.  Billy’s silly songs, and funny stories always brought a smile to your face.

He is survived by his three daughters; Elaine Todd, Carol Rogers, and Sue Elliott and her husband Ron; eight grandchildren, Blain, Levi, Keba, Adrian, Blake, Fawna, Rachelle and Ash; eight great grandchildren; sister Joyce McDaniel, and brother Bobby Ferguson.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Betty Ferguson and son Larry Ferguson.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2019, followed by Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. at Beebe First Church of the Nazarene.  Cremation arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.smithfamilycares.com
