Billy Joe Cox, 89, of Maumelle, passed away February 21, 2017. He was born in Braggs, Oklahoma to the late Joseph Henry and Una Pearl Cox. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Elizabeth Cox; children, Linda Gail Smith (Calvin), Billy Joe Cox (Susan) and Renee Huff; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
There will be a gathering of family and friends to honor Billy's life at Maumelle Church of Christ, this evening, Wednesday, February 22 from 5-8 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Bakersfield National Cemetery in California.
