Billie Ann Mowery, 79, of Maumelle, passed away June 13, 2015. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Willie and Bernice Nolen Haynie. Billie and her late husband, Robert, a Christian minister, began the Coffeehouse Christian Ministry and the Bridge Ministries for troubled teens back in the 1970's in the Little Rock area. She was a worship leader, an accomplished pianist and she served those in need throughout her lifetime.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Mowery, and brother, Jerry Haynie, she is survived by two sons, Rob Mowery and Gary Mowery, both of Little Rock; two sisters, Kay Butler of Snellville, Georgia and Linda McCandless of Lexington, Nebraska; two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Billie's family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of the Lakes at Maumelle Health and Rehab for all their love and care.
