Billie Jean Johnson

Billie Jean Johnson, born on August 7, 1930, passed away at the age of 92, surrounded by loved ones in Stuttgart, Arkansas, on Monday, August 22, 2022. 

She was welcomed to Heaven by her parents, Arlie and Annie; her husband, Cecil; daughter, Jeana; brother, Edward; and sisters, Edna and Dorothy.

Billie was an accomplished pianist, renowned cook, and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ.  To us, she was beloved Mother, Mamaw, Mama J and Aunt Billie.  She will be missed by many whose lives she touched.

Those left to preserve her memory are son, Clint; daughter, Donna (Wallace); son-in-law, Dewain; granddaughter, Devin (Millard); great-grandson, Dakota; special nephew, Jerry (Monica); and great-nephew, Carson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 26, 2022, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Rev. Wallace A. Simmons and Rev. Jerry Fagan officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Delight Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Clint Johnson, Jerry Parks, Wallace A. Simmons, Dewain Francis, Dakota Frazier and Millard Roswell.

Honorary pallbearers will be David V. Johnson and Roy Johnson.
