Billie Jean Carter

Billie J. Carter, 95, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024; she was born in Cord, Arkansas on September 21, 1928.

She was a homemaker and member of Sylvan Hills Community church in North Little Rock.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Hall (Bill) of Little Rock, and Donna Wood (Billy Don) of Charlotte; one brother, Van Ray Anderson of Cord; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carter; her parents, Alfred Anderson Sr. and Golda Anderson of Cord, daughter, Beverly Gipson and son, Eddie Carter, five siblings, R.W. Anderson, Willodene Wilson, Alma Lee Mobley, and Alfred Junior of Cord. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home 1921 Main St North Little Rock, AR. A graveside service will be Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Hope Well Cemetery in Cord, AR.
