Billie J. Schlenker Benson 88 of Arkadelphia died Friday, May 8, 2015. She was born September 4, 1926 in Nimrod, AR the daughter of William "Bill" and Tula Bittle Schlenker. She was a retired nurse and a member of New Life Church. She was preceded in death by a son, John Ross Benson.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Green of Donaldson and Jo Lynn Todd and her husband Nicky of Arkadelphia, five grandchildren, Bill and Lee Ann Benson, Allison Chancellor, Scott Green, and Phillip Todd, six great grandchildren, Brianna Lane, Calvin and Jenny Bond, Chase Chancellor, and Holden and Linden Green.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday, May 11th in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Pastor Martin Jones officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens near Malvern. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
