Bill Parker, of Conway took the hand of God and some of his family on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. He was born December 24, 1955 and reached the milestone of turning 53, even though he was told he wouldn?t. Bill was just that kind of person, if you told him he couldn?t do something, he would show you otherwise.
He joins his grandfather and grandmother, Wesley and Alma Parker, his mother, Leona Hickerson, his brother, Dearl Brewer and a host of aunts and uncles.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years, Cynthia; daughter and son-in-law, Purity and James Ingram and grandson, Parker Ingram who was the love of his life; brother, Gerald Brewer; two sisters, Becky Ingle and her husband, Adam and Joyce McCahan. He also leaves behind his other family from Arkansas Trailer, Guy and Greg Campbell. He was loved by many sisters and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and so many great friends.
Bill wished to be cremated and his ashes will remain in his home, which he took great pride in.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Joseph Beck and his staff for giving him a few extra months and the 7th floor oncology department at St. Vincent Infirmary.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Ave., Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
