Bill Little was born in Marianna, Arkansas on October 28th, 1949, to Roy and Ora Lee Little. His brothers were Larry, Frank, and Charles. He had four sisters, Irene, Helen, Bonnie, and Grace. They all preceded him in death.
His wife, Marcia; daughter, Stephanie; and son, Christopher were his family whom he cherished and prayed for daily. He is also survived by his sisters in law, Imogene, Mary, Cheri, Elaine, Jo Ann and Kathy; brothers in law, Don, Dale, Doug, and Roy; and mother in law, Dot Van Eycke.
Bill served in the US Army in Vietnam as a decorated mechanical engineer running supplies on the South China Sea. Bill owned and managed Auto Body Pros and had worked as an auto appraiser and as an insurance adjuster. He was happy restoring classic cars and trucks and upgrading them. Bill enjoyed serving others at church and at the Arkansas Dream Center. As a member of New Life Church Greater Little Rock, he valued his Bible studies, daily devotions and prayer times.
Bill once pulled a man from a burning truck and got the man to safety. Bill loved his nieces, Melissa, Olivia, Kimberly, Karri Ann, Kelly Jo, Mariana, Margaret, Michelle, and Lisa; and nephews, Brent, Jeramiah, Matt, Scott, Christopher, Cody, Blake, Tommy, Joshua, Timothy, Matthew, Michael. He received much joy from them. Bill leaves a legacy of honor, integrity, and devotion to THE LORD and to HIS FAMILY.
Bill’s wife was always amazed at his desire to enhance his work skills. He would invent helpful objects and tools to add to his tool chest. Bill remodeled his and Marcia’s home in Arkansas. He was the general contractor of the home they built with Marcia’s dad in Illinois. Bill took their house to completion from staking out through interior finishes as he assisted the tradesmen.
Bill will be happy to be reunited with family and friends for eternity. He would like to thank all the “angels among us” pastors, family, friends that blessed his life with joy.
Visitation will be 10:00AM-11:00AM Friday, September 9, 2022 at New Life Church Greater Little Rock (8000 Crystal Hill Road) with a funeral service following at 11:00AM. Interment at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery will be held at a later date.
