Graveside services for Bill King of North Little Rock will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday Oct. 13, 2009 at Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock.
Bill King was born in Lonoke, Arkansas on September 19, 1926 to Harley and Bessie King of Austin, Arkansas. He passed away Sunday October 11, 2009 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Bill graduated from Lonoke High School and was a United States Air Force veteran. He worked for Wonder Bread and after retiring he and his wife enjoyed years living on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs before settling in North Little Rock. They spent a lot of their time traveling with friends to Arkansas Razorback Football Games.
He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen King, His parents, Harley and Bessie King and brother Bobby King.
Survivors include two stepsons; Bobby Diffee and wife Oma, Clay Hamilton and wife Debby, three step grandsons Robert Diffee, Gabe Hamilton and wife Ree of Maumelle and Hunter Hamilton and wife Terrah of Memphis, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice c/o St. Vincent's doctor's Hospital, 6101 St. Vincent's Circle- Floor 2C, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
