Bill Harrelson

William M. ("Bill") Harrelson, Sr., 93, died July 3, 2018 in Spring Hill, TN.

Bill was born on April 26, 1925 in Fordyce, AR and was a graduate of Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII as a B24 navigator. He served 25 years as Special Agent with the FBI, in the Springfield IL, Milwaukee WI, Washington D.C. Field Office, and Little Rock AR divisions. After retirement from the FBI, he taught at Henderson State University.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Meredith Reid Harrelson. He is survived by two sons, Hal Reid Harrelson (Susan) of Laurel, MD and William Martin ("Marty") Harrelson, Jr. (Cheri) of Trabuco Canyon, CA, and two daughters, Judy Harrelson Wayne (Robert) of Spring Hill, TN and Mary J. Harrelson of Pasadena, MD; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Rebecca Dallas (Ray), and four brothers, Otho Max Harrelson (Louise), Robert Troy Harrelson, Jr., Woodrow Wilson Harrelson (Agnes), and Frederick Gene Harrelson (Jeanette).

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 14th at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Bob Harrelson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Nick Wayne, Chris Wayne, Tommy Harrelson and Jim Throgmorten.
