William Lee "Bill" Boyd, 61 of Ward, died Tuesday July 12, 2016. Bill served 4 years in the US Navy, serving as a Navy SeaBee. Bill was retired from the Cabot and Ward Public Works, a Baptist and a Mason.
He is survived by his mother, Geneva Boyd of Ward, a son; Max Boyd, 4 step sons; Jeramie and John Davis of Ward, Matt and Bo Swearengin of Cabot, 2 sisters; Barbara (David) Bates of Ward, Brenda(Freeman) Hodges of Cabot. He was preceeded in death by his dad, John "Woody" Boyd and a brother John Patrick Boyd. A celebration of Bill's life will be 2 pm Friday ,July 15. at Smith Westbrook funeral home with visitation beginning at 1 pm. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery by Smith Westbrook Funeral home, a certified Veterans Care provider.
