Beverly Turner

Beverly Ann Turner, 63, of Mabelvale went to be with Jesus on July 16, 2019.  She was born on May 29, 1956 in Little Rock, AR to the late Ralph Harris and Ruth Miller.

Bev has been a long time member of New Hope Nazarene Church and loved Jesus.  She served for several years as Missions Director and Sunday School Superintendent.  Her joy came in the form of giving and serving others.  One of her favorite ways to give was to purchase bibles for those that did not have one.

Football was a way of life for Bev with a particular admiration for the Arkansas Razorbacks and Tom Brady.  She knew the stats as well anyone and loved to talk about the game.  You could bet that the whole neighborhood knew when she was watching football because she was very vocal with the TV.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carolyn Lybrand; and brother, Randy Harris.  She is survived by her husband, Wilton Turner; daughter, Misty Nichols (Mark); son, Lake Perry (Christina); 2 granddaughters, Megan Hall and Sky Perry and 1 grandson, Caleb Nichols; 2 brothers, Edward Harris (Ann) and Larry Harris (Jane); 1 sister, Trish Cole (Dennis); a brother-in-law, Paul Lybrand; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.

This celebration of her life is officiated by Brother George Yarberry.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 1:00 p.m at New Hope Nazarene Church, 5519 Atwood Rd, with visitation one hour prior to service starting at 12:00 noon.  Burial in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
