Beverly Medlock McClain age 60 of Hot Springs died Monday, August 30, 2010 in Hot Springs. She was born July 31, 1950 in Arkadelphia, the daughter of Thomas Albert and Lois Runyan Medlock Sr.. Beverly was a retired schoolteacher and administrator having taught in the Helena-West Helena Central School for over twenty years and as a principal at Goza Jr. High in Arkadelphia. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. Her mother, Lois Runyan Medlock preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Crompton of Hot Springs, AR; her father, Thomas Albert Medlock Sr. of Arkadelphia, AR; three brothers, Tommy Medlock of Arkadelphia, AR; Terry Medlock of Bedias, Texas; Ricky R. Medlock of Arkadelphia, AR; nieces and nephews, Stacey Medlock Forgason of Hungerford, Texas; Amiee Medlock Schroeder of San Antonio, Texas; Sam Medlock of Montgomery, Texas; Laurel Medlock, Caroline Medlock, Jimmy Medlock and Reed Medlock all of Arkadelphia, AR.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 2, 2010 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Runyan officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tommy, Terry, Ricky, Sam, Jimmy and Reed Medlock. Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
